ARYAN SIAHPOUSHAN
Founder
Aryan grew up playing a variety of sports, particularly excelling in tennis. He took up weightlifting in college while pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Maryland.
Although Aryan's career began in consulting, his entrepreneurial instincts and passion for fitness led him back to the weight room. After learning about the physiology and biomechanics of the human body to improve his own training techniques, Aryan worked at Gold's Gym for several years before becoming an independent trainer and creating Method Fitness.
He's determined to help others train more intelligently and sustainably while guided by a foundation of science-backed techniques – something he wishes he had when he first started lifting.
Since then, he has devoted countless hours in continued education and certifications and has coached 150+ clients across all levels, ages, and needs.

MATEO MOORE
Director of Operations & Business Development / Trainer
Mateo Moore is a certified NASM Personal Trainer. Prior to his weightlifting and fitness career, Mateo was a long time Martial Artist training in 6 different styles.
Upon moving to Blacksburg to attend Virginia Tech and discovering there were no local dojos to continue his martial arts practices at, Mateo turned to weightlifting. It proved to be a smooth transition due to the similarities between the two disciplines, including perfecting form and mental motivation.
He's since immersed himself in learning more about exercise science and is passionate about helping others maximize their performance while minimizing injuries.

EMILY PIETSCH
Dietitian Nutritionist
Emily is a Registered Dietitian whose passion for cooking drew her to pursue an undergraduate degree in Dietetics at James Madison University, and later a Masters in Nutrition & Genetics. Through her formal education she was able to understand how nutrition can be used to optimize one’s health and well-being.
Emily was exposed to various types of research and was able to sharpen skills in personalized nutrition, understanding the importance of individual considerations and recommendations.
She has worked in many areas in the industry, with a focus in medical nutrition therapy and disordered eating. Emily’s nutrition philosophy is that all foods can be part of a healthy diet, and her goal is to help clients reduce stress and guilt around food and become confident in their choices.

THOEMAAS LOZIER

Thoemaas is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Prior to stepping into the fitness and health industry, he used to work as a professional chef. His aim was to nurture his relationship with food and hone his ability to bring others together to one table.
It is his strong belief that every client is a success story and it’s simply a matter of nurturing them to facilitate this actualization. Resonating within his nature is the duty to help and enrich the lives of others. With an abundance of flavor and zest, he’s perpetually cultivating the capacity and understanding necessary to assist anyone in living a more wholesome and meaningful life.
Thoemaas is currently pursuing his M.S. in Exercise Science and Health Promotions at Pennsylvania Western University. In his free time he coaches troubled youths by teaching them healthy habits and the fundamentals of diet & exercise.

EVELINA KAMALOVA

Evelina is a certified personal trainer and for over a decade worked in the American Embassy in Moscow where she was responsible for training a wide range of dignitaries and diplomats including the American Ambassador to Russia. Besides traditional weightlifting and fitness routines, she loves to include Functional and TRX Suspension in her workouts.
Evelina is experienced in teaching clients from a wide range of fitness levels, from beginner to expert. She believes in the benefits of variety & motivation in fitness and by using a combination of disciplines, she ensures that every one of her clients receives an individualized, challenging, and fun workout.

Personal Trainer
Christian is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. After a career in the optical field, Christian wanted to transfer his interpersonal skills into his passion for health & fitness.
Like many, his entrance into this field began with him seeking improvement in his own physical well-being. After seeing & feeling the positive effects himself, he began seeking further education in order to help others.
Christian became certified and obtained a speciality in Senior Fitness, which emphasizes motor control, body awareness, and stability/balance training. He takes those components, as well as foundational strength training exercises, and integrates them in to his programming for all of his clients.

JEFF PETERSON
Personal Trainer
Jeff is a Personal Trainer certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Growing up, he participated in sports including soccer, basketball, and hiking in order to maintain good health. Following injuries that limited his ability to engage in those activities, he became passionate about educating himself on proper strength training to help improve his joint and muscle function.
Upon graduating from Syracuse University, Jeffrey's passion has turned to helping others improve their own health & fitness through properly executed and thought out resistance training.

MICHAEL BOGDAN
Personal Trainer
Michael is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and although he participated in sports growing up, his entrance in to the fitness industry came later more as a result of feeling the effects of a busy work life.
Michael transitioned to Personal Training after a career in management as the COO of a Coffee Company. What began as a pursuit of personal wellness, grew into a desire to help others improve their health & longevity. Having come from a sedentary career, Michael understands that small sustainable changes can impact life in a big way.
Michael spends his free time as a busy military spouse and father of four children.

ALEXANDER ELLIS
Personal Trainer
Alex is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Growing up, fitness was in the form of organized sports for Alex, specifically basketball. His passion for health & wellbeing continued in the form of strength training while serving in the United States Air Force.
During service, Alex sustained a handful of injuries and was recommended to begin resistance training to prevent anything chronic. He took it upon himself to become better versed in how to approach proper programming and exercise technique, and experienced the benefits himself.
Alex is incredibly passionate about helping others meet their fitness goals, while feeling health & happy. His approach is to master the foundational movement patterns, working with comprehensive compound lifts, and supplementing with isolated exercises to hone in on specific areas.
In addition to being a trainer, Alex is also going back to school to pursue a career in Physical Therapy.

NOAH D'ANGELO
Personal Trainer
Noah is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise. Noah grew up in an active family, participating in soccer, basketball and track throughout high school. His weight training started as early as eight to prepare the body for the toll sports can take. After injuring his knee, Noah was fascinated by the idea of using exercise to heal the body and improve function within day-to-day life.
Despite starting his professional career as a mental health worker, Noah has transitioned his aspirations into personal training. From his degree at Penn State, Noah built a foundational knowledge of human anatomy and movement science. That education, paired with his passion to help individuals live a happier, healthier life, has led Noah to a career path that he has taken in stride.
Noah’s goal is to provide a friendly face, unrivaled motivation, and a strong base of knowledge to each and every client that walks through the door. New to the area, Noah spends his free time exploring the NOVA area for intriguing eateries, breweries, and entertainment.

ISABEL PAZMINO
Personal Trainer
Isabel is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She was first introduced to weight lifting early in high school in order to enhance and optimize her cross country performance. As her competitive sports faded, she began to put more and more emphasis into strength training after experiencing the physical and mental benefits of quality, structured exercise performed consistently.
Her interest in different forms of resistance training grew as she competed in powerlifting through USA Powerlifting, and now is personally transitioning to bodybuilding competitor through the National Physique Committee.
Beyond her own experience, Isabel received her NASM certification to help fuel her passion and desire to help others feel the benefits of achieving their fitness goals in a safe and effective manner. Her over-arching philosophy is to focus on both executing foundational movements at a high level and with purpose, as well as incorporating other modalities of training to elicit specific results.
As Isabel’s thirst for knowledge in exercise and wellness has grown, she has decided to pursue a degree in Kinesiology as well.

RICH ORTIZ

Rich's experience as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a holistic health practitioner, and a fitness and nutrition coach, gives him the ability to work a wide variety of individuals looking for guidance with their health and fitness goals. His purpose is to create unity by developing communities through physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health, which motivates him to support his clients in any way he can.
Originally from California, Rich studied at California State University - Fresno, where he received two Bachelor's degrees in Exercise Science and Deaf Studies (American Sign Language and Culture), before moving to North Carolina to attend Campbell University for his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
Rich has wanted to become a DPT since 2003 because of his fascination with how the body works, especially in relation to movement. His passion for understanding the science, and bridging it to the application, has continually grown as he has seen how impactful it can be to a person's life.
Rich has personal and professional experience with a variety of sports including: running, wrestling, gymnastics, weightlifting, throwing/swinging sports, as well as everyday activities like caretaking, yard work, etc.

NOEL CARVAJAL

Noel is a big believer that he owes all of his success and everything that is good in his life to martial arts. His journey began as a weight loss journey that turned into a lifestyle after his very first sparring session at age 15. After nearly a decade of competition, and 30 career bouts, Noel followed the direction of coaching - he has helped train hundreds of individuals from professional athletes looking to make a name for themselves, to everyday people trying to find their inner fighting spirit and make healthy changes.
Noel approaches training with an analytical mindset along with empathy for his clients. He is a heavy believer in conditioning and using evidence-based approaches to shape the skill set of his clients and that everyone is a fighter at heart. It is his passion to help individuals from all walks of life find their intensity for training and to achieve their health and fitness goals. You will always find Noel searching for ways to improve his coaching to bring the very best to his clients.
